10.50 Art Deco Hutschenreuther-rosenthal Porcelain Heron Egret Bird Figurine
GREAT WHITE HERON / EGRET. Designed by Helmut Diller in 1949. First quality - excellent condition. Here is auctioned a wonderful bird figurine of a great white heron designed by Helmut Diller - handmade and handpainted fired porcelain in excellent condition. This figure was produced from the highly regarded german manufactury Hutschenreuther (today a a part of Rosenthal), Selb, Bavaria, Germany.
First formed in the Victorian / Art Nouveau or Art Deco Period from the famous sculptor Helmut Diller. The large egret is impressive because of the expressive and wonderful details and the exactly painting. A wonderful piece and an eyecatcher for every collection.
Tremendous Figure, outstanding details, very lifelike figurine. This was made about 65 years ago and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, as shown on the photos! It has absolutely no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. Wide, 10.50 inches tall - 19 cm x 26,5 cm.The hallmark was used about 1955. Helmut Diller was primarily a sculptor but also a painter. His works are convincing because of their clear and plain structure. Diller created the animal sculptures for the brand Hutschenreuther. No chips, no cracks, no flaws, no repairs.
The figurine is even more beautiful as the photos can express it! Thank you for you time! The figure is fixed in a box embedded with foam material and this box I put in an big box filled with styrofoam chips. Entwurf: Helmut Diller im Jahr 1949. 26,5 cm hoch und 19 cm breit.
