Art Deco Rosenthal Selb porcelain figurine by Dorothea Charol. The model for this porcelain figurine was Anita Berber who was a famous Berlin Burlesque dancer in the 1920's. Marked on base Rosenthal Bavaria and impressed with artist name D. Superb condition, great item for the collector!

Large Art Deco porcelain figure, model of Dorothea Charol, "Anita, " execution Rosenthal Selb, scantily clad women in a pose of expressive dance, one leg and both arms bent, hands framing finely modeled, strict and lost-looking face, behind catch and will be completed figure , white glazed with cloth skirt, open work at the top of standing on an octagonal base, this, marked in the ground "Rosenthal Bavaria" color stamp in green under glaze, with artist's signature D. 201 and the letter "E" Provided.
