Amazing condition apple-shaped Art Deco teapot out of the Fraunfelter China company of Zanesville Ohio. The bottom half of the pot is an apple or spring green, the upper a creamy ivory, and the spout, handle, and details are a bright silver luster. Fraunfelter's restaurant line had both full and minimal luster varieties--this one is the full lustered spout and handle real deal! Lid allows you to pour tea without the lid falling off, as it slides into the top of the teapot. The lid has a corner loss which is indistinguishable once the lid is slid into its slot on the top of the teapot.

There is also a minor chip at the tip of the pouring spout. The photos note the extremely minor glaze imperfections and the few areas where use has worn off the luster. It's about 9 inches wide from spout to handle, 5.5 inches tall including the lid, and 3 inches deep, and holds almost 3 cups. The "Fraunfelter China, Ohio" hallmark is stamped on the bottom, and the Patent Applied For stamp is applied both under the pot and under the lid.
