Antique Boch Freres Keramis D1173 Belgium Charles Catteau Art Deco Floral Vase
The vase, model number D1173, is made from a slip-cast form and features decoration enamelled with geometric flowers and foliage in burnt umber and black on a crazed white ground. The body is decorated with four juxtaposed groups of stylized flowers, connected at the neck and foot by stylized leaves. The vase presents beautifully and it is in very good antique condition, with very minimal wear and patina from being on display. There is one minor and virtually invisible from the outside stable hairline surface imperfection on the inside of the neck, hence the great bargain price.

Boch Freres-Keramis was founded in La Louviere, Belgium in 1841 and was in business until 1985. This beloved company was famous for creating objets d'art of unquestionable artistic quality. The vase, model number D1173, is made from a slip-cast form and features decoration. Enamelled with geometric flowers and foliage in burnt umber and black on an intententionally crackled white ground.
