Produced from the highly regarded manufactury Hutschenreuther today a part of Rosenthal, Selb, Bavaria, Germany. First formed in the Victorian / Art Nouveau or Art Deco Period from the famous sculptor Hans Achtziger.

This figurine is extremely RARE to find. It has an old hallmark of ca. This figurine impresses through the stunning details beautiful painting. Tremendous Figurine, outstanding details, very lifelike situation. 5.30 inches wide, 5.50 inches tall - 13,5 x 14 cm. Hans Achtziger (1918 2003) was a member of the German "Werkbund" und one of the most influential porcelain modellers in the 20th century. He created dinner services and a large number of exceptional animal sculptures for the brand Hutschenreuther which was acquired by Rosenthal in 2000. The hallmark was used about 19.
