1s t choice - excellent condition. Here is auctioned a wonderful bird figurine of two Flamingos designed by Hans Achtziger - handmade and handpainted fired porcelain in excellent condition. This figure was produced from the highly regarded german manufactury Hutschenreuther (today a a part of Rosenthal), Selb, Bavaria, Germany. First formed in the Victorian / Art Nouveau or Art Deco Period from the famous sculptor Hans Achtziger (ACHTZIGER is impressed in the pedestal). The Flamingo group is impressive because of the expressive and wonderful details and the exactly painting. A wonderful piece and an eyecatcher for every collection. Tremendous Figure, outstanding details, very lifelike figurine. This was made about 50 years ago and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, as shown on the photos!
It has absolutely no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. 4 inches wide, 7 inches tall - 10 cm x 18 cm. Hans Achtziger (1918 2003) was a member of the German "Werkbund" und one of the most influential porcelain modellers in the 20th century.
He created dinner services and a large number of exceptional animal sculptures for the brand Hutschenreuther which was acquired by Rosenthal in 2000. No chips, no cracks, no flaws, no repairs. The figurine is even more beautiful as the photos can express it!Thank you for you time! The figure is fixed in a box embedded. With foam material and this box I put in an big box filled with styrofoam chips. 18 cm hoch und 9 cm breit.
