Large Borzoi Greyhound Dog Hertwig Germany 1940's Porcelain Porzellan Art Deco
This is a wonderful period representation f. Rom the glorious days of the art deco style which celebrated the modern age, decorative arts and luxury. Authentic 1930's -1940's ceramic Borzoi dog by Hertwig/Katzhutte Germany. Early casting detail shows inset eyes, correct ears, nose, mouth, toes, fur with deep dark chocolate brown and cream colors.
15" long, 6.75" tall, 4 wide. Marked Hertwig 58 and number 997. Some minor grazing (see last photo) typical for age, but great overall condition; please view all photos.
