Marked on base with the Dressel Kister. (C 1920) and painter's mark. The award winning Dressel Kister and Cie - founded in the Dresden area of Germany in the mid 1800s - produced Art Deco porcelain masterpieces which today are considered the creme de la creme for doll collectors.

Dressel Kister displayed at many World Fairs and Exhibitions, and won 12 gold medals, two silver medals and six Grand Prix awards. This factory's production of porcelain figures gave it an international reputation. First class artists and sculptors were involved... High-class figures which won many international prizes... (Ludwig Danckert Directory of European Porcelain). Listed in the Lorrin Half Doll book vol. Big size - 8 inches long.

Gorgeous porcelain skin with blue and lavender undertones, this Victorian lady has never been out in the sun. Superb painting - look at that dreamy Dressel face. Mink rug comes along with her as an extra gift. Mink also in excellent condition, shiny and soft.
