Pair of Art Deco PORCELIER Sconces, Antique - Vintage, New Wiring, Good Pull Switches. These porcelain bath sconces were made by Porcelier.

Porcelier was in business from the late 1920's to the early 1950's, but based on the art deco design in the wall plates, we think that these were made during the 930's. The round shaped sconces are in very good condition with no chips or repairs.

They are beige or off-white in color with red and yellow flowers, green leaves, and beautiful 24k gold accents. The gold accents are painted on after the last firing, and it is common for them to have a lot of abrasion, but these are in very good condition with only minor abrasion.

The sconces have new wiring and they have good pull chain switches which we cleaned and lubricated, and the switches work smoothly and correctly. We recommend that a wall switch be the primary on/off method because these type of switches are no longer made and if one breaks you usually have to either use a salvaged one or just bypass it.

They might last another 40 years, who knows, but the wall switch is the better option. However, the pull chains give them that 1930's look and if you are restoring an old house, these might be perfect. They use standard base bulbs (not included).

Ounting hardware is included in the sale. Dimensions: wall plate is 6-1/2" high, 4-5/8" wide, and projects 4-1/4 from wall. Height to the end of the chain is 8-1/2. Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them that you are returning them. We have other sconces including other Porcelier sconces and ceiling fixtures for sale, so please check out our our lighting store.

We usually have other sconces and ceiling fixtures with the same colors and design, so if you are trying to stay with a color or pattern, these might do it.
