Pair Vintage Porcelier Sconces w/Garden Roses & Gold Trim, Opal Shades, rewired. These porcelain bath sconces were made by Porcelier in the 1930's. The sconces are in excellent condition with no chips or repairs. Their background color is beige and it is overlain by a display of roses. They have gold trim around the margins and the gold is in excellent condition!

There are often losses to the gold accents because they are put on after the last firing and are not protected by the glaze. The wiring is new as are the cardboard socket insulators.

The pull chain sockets have been cleaned and tested and work smoothly, but we always recommend that a wall switch be the primary method of turning them on and off. This type of switch is no longer made, and the only way to repair them is to salvage from another fixture (or bypass them), so it is best to not make them the primary on/off method. However, we love the pull chains because they provide that 1930's look.

Dimensions: 8" high to end of pull chain knob , 4-3/4" wide, and project 4-1. Use standard base bulbs (not included). Mounting hardware included in sale (crossbars, threaded nipples, mounting nuts).
