This figure is in overall excellent condition compared the age, with no chips, cracks in the structure. At the age almost 120 years the glaze started to peel off. Most probably it was stored in a high humidity room, frozen in winters. 3 spots of the lost glaze has been repaired with cover paint: at the tail, the right side of the bull's neck and the belly of the kneeling lady. One glaze loss spot is not covered yet, at the back of the kneeling lady. All of these spots are photographed on the last 4 photos. Signed on the base, but not dated, I have found the date of creation 1905 in his Wikipedia site at the list of his artworks. Height : 11-1/2 / 29 cms. Length : 11-1/2 / 29 cms. Width : 5-3/4 / 15,5 cms.
