1920s Art Deco white crackle glaze deer ceramic figure Antique original
Here is a very stylish 1920s French Art Deco white crackle glaze ceramic deer that has been modelled leaping amidst stylised plants/foliage to the foreground. Crackle glaze figures of stylised animals became very popular across Europe and beyond in the 1920s and 1930s. It measures 13" inches long by 7" inches at the highest point and is in very good overall condition for its age with lights signs of wear to the surface of the glaze, one small chip to one corner and a small chip to one side of the underside which is very minor and mentioned here for accuracy.
