A very rare Art Deco SS Leviathan Club demitasse cup & dessert plate Syracuse
For your consideration, a set of 2 rare Syracuse China Old Ivory pieces from the SS Leviathan's Club Leviathan. Art Deco in style, this demitasse cup and 6.5 dessert plate were designed by the noted architect and designer Eugene Schoen, with the patterns apparently mimicking the linoleum floor of the Club. They are in excellent condition with relatively few signs of use, just some minor utensil scratches on the surface of the plate visible in the right light. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
