Antique 1760-1780 Porcelain Hen Chelsea Porcelain England Gold Anchor Mark

  

This beautiful hand painted porcelain hen was made in England by the Chelsea Porcelain Factory. It is from a local estate of a porcelain collector.

It is charming on its own. Chelsea used the anchor mark painted in gold leaf from 1760 to 1780. In inches: 8.5 High 8 Long 3.5 Deep. In Centimeters: 22 High 20 Long 9 Deep. It is in very good used condition, especially since it is over 250 years old.

There are no chips, crazing, or cracks. There is gold loss on the back feathers, the top of the head, and the feet. Please see the last 3 photos.
