Condition: good collectible state of preservation, no defects and restorations were found. Interesting fact: The Boch Manufactory Boch Frères Keramis Co. Was founded in Belgium (La Louvière) by Jean-François Boch, one of the main owners of another well-known company Villeroy & Boch. In 1844, Victor Boch took over the management of Boch Freres SNC, under whose leadership the production of earthenware developed very rapidly.
In 1847, the company won a gold medal at the Belgian Industry Exhibition. In 1855 they had already employed 300 workers at the La Louviere factory (Keramis) and 100 at the Tournais factory (Boch Freres). Around 1860, the production of polychrome products began. Boch Frères Keramis dominated the Belgian market in the late 19th century, but was particularly successful in the first half of the 20th century with the arrival of Catteau, whose design, technique and decoration turned ceramics into an exceptional Art Deco class.
