Offering this amazing example of Italian ceramics! She was made by Ronzan, a competitor of Lenci at the time, sometime in the 1940s. It is a stunning depiction of a nude young woman sitting in a huge water lily as she is startled by an encroaching little frog. Really unique and so endearing!
This is a larger piece at 9.25 inches high, and about 8 inches across at widest point. In very good condition, with a few spots of wear/small, superficial chips, which I have tried to show in the pictures. Most were hard to capture; please do examine the pics, and let me know if you have any questions.
