My research shows that this poodle was designed by Fritz Heidenreich. This German ceramic is heavy for his size, and is very high quality. Poodles dark eyes are mesmerizing and I just love his black nose.
He is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, flea bites or repairs. He does have "wear" on the bottom of his left paw (see pic), its still smooth, not a chip. He is so finely detailed, with lovely curls and lovely footpads on his front paws. The fur detailing is excellent, as you can see from the photos he is gray. This close mouthed poodle, standing on all fours version seems to be less common than other versions of Rosenthal Poodles.
