AN ANTIQUE ART DECO COPELAND SPODE IVORY FLORAL & COLUMN POTTERY CYLINDER LAMP WITH ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT DUPLEX BRASS PULL CHAIN SOCKET FIXTURE & RETICULATED BRASS BASE. This is a beautiful lamp with friezes of holly leaves and berries decoration at the top of the cylinder and flowers at the bottom and the design is repeated 4 times around the lamp with columns or pillars or pilasters in between each decorated section. The brass base is embossed with scroll decoration at the top and a reticulated section on the lowers section bound by flower and leaves decoration above and below. This lamp is marked Copeland Spode England on the underside of the pottery section as pictured. The measurements are 26 1/8" tall with the riser fully extended, 22 5/8" tall with the riser fully lowered which gives 3 1/2" height adjustment, The base is 14 1/2" tall including the brass section, the cylinder is 4 1/4" in diameter, the base is 6 3/4" across, and the weight is 4 lbs and 10 oz. The condition is very good preowned with the notation of a shallow dent in the brass base toward the back of the lamp as pictured. Also one of the socket caps has splits which do not affect the stabiliity of the socket cover or the socket which is held in place tightly.
