A Stunning Pottery Harlequin Boudoir Lamp. A nice way to light your. Collection of objets d'art. (Other items in vignette not for sale). Fulper Pottery, located in Flemington, New Jersey from 1910 to 1929, created some of the most memorable ceramic lamps that were illuminated by electricity. Their figural boudoir lamp depicting a masked Harlequin woman in pantaloons is prized by Fulper collectors today. It is the translucency of the ceramic, lit from within, along with the colorful and almost kitschy look of the figure that makes this lamp so special. The Harlequin lady boudoir lamp was originally called The Mask Boudoir Lamp No. 331 and it was marketed in the 1920s. William Fulper died in 1928 & sadly his pottery burned to the ground in 1929. A rare piece for the discerning Art Deco collector.

Top half clips securely over light bulb. 14 tall or so (depends on bulb size; a shorter bulb is recommended), excellent condition. Wiring works, though I'd recommend changing the plug out and adding an inline switch. It is described In Antique Trader as a perfume lamp.

Likely there was a ceramic perfume ring. By adding a few drops of perfume to the ring well, the warmth from the. Diffuse the scent through the room. It would be easy to add a ring if you wish.

Difficult to get a good picture of this lit. With a 60 watt daylight bulb, so you can see how translucent she is. You could achieve a more subtle effect with a lower watt bulb.
