Art Deco Porcelain Perfume Lamp Figural Lady Incense Burner Figurine Germany Vtg
A glorious 1920s art deco perfume lamp, hand-painted porcelain made in Germany's Bavaria region. A beautiful redheaded flapper strikes a pose in a huge yellow coat and matching dress. The lamp is made so that a bulb inside (no lamp component included) will illuminate only her face (shown with a flashlight inside). The back of the figurine is perforated for perfume vapors, the bottom marked "Bavaria" and 3863.
Unsure of maker, maybe Fasold & Stauch or Heubach. Beautifully painted, delicate features and delightful color. A most beautiful perfume lamp, a prize for any collector. P e n c i l p o i n t e r >.
