The porcelain is in very good condition. We have carefully cleaned the fixture, removing all of the ceiling paint and dirt from the sides of the fixture.
We rewired it using the original, signed porcelain and brass standard base sockets. The sale includes the mounting hardware (original mounting nut, threaded nipple, & crossbar). We have been restoring Porcelier pieces for over 15 years, and this is the first one of these fixtures we have come across. We have shown a photo of the fixture from Susan Grindberg's book Porcelier China. She attributes it to a 1930 design by Hyman Tauber, one of their designers. The fixture is 11" long, 5-1/2" wide, and it is 2-1/4 high (not including the dangling mounting nut). Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them. We have other antique lighting for sale including other Porcelier ceiling fixtures, so please.
