Pair of Antique / Vintage Porcelier Porcelain Sconces with pull chain switches, modern wiring. These porcelain bath sconces were made by Porcelier sometime between 1930's and early 1950's and they fit both art deco era and. The oval shaped sconces are in good condition with no chips or repairs. They are beige or off-white in color with pumpkin-orange and blue flowers, green leaves, and brown stems and brown stripe accents around the perimeter.
The hardware is new nickel plated brass. The pull chains work smoothly and correctly (we cleaned and lubed the contacts) but we always recommend that a wall switch be the primary on/off method. These pull chain sockets are no longer made, and if one breaks you have to salvage another one to repair it (or bypass it).
They might last another 40 years, who knows, but the wall switch is the better option. However, the pull chains give them that period look and if you are restoring an older house, these might be perfect. Dimensions: wall plate is 6-1/2" high, 4" wide, and projects 4 from wall. Height to the end of the chain is 8-1/4. They use standard base bulbs (not included). All mounting hardware is included in sale including nickel plate mounting nuts. Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them that you are returning them. We have other matching sconces as well as other Porcelier sconces and ceiling fixtures for sale, so please check out our our lighting store. We have other sconces and ceiling fixtures with the same colors and design, so if you are trying to stay with a color or pattern, these might do it.
