Rare Art Deco KARL ENS Nude Lady with Water Lily Porcelain Germany

  

What is she thinking as she looks wistfully into the water pool? Pensive Karl Ens nude with water lily. She doesn't look sad, merely pensive.

She is beautifully and subtley tinted. The water lily in her lap and the highly detailed leaves seem not as glossy as her body and the base creating a more dramatic contrast. I can't determine if that is merely a trick of the light.

She rests on a solid base somewhat triangular in shape. Clearly marked on the bottom.

She measures 6.75" tall X 5.5" wide. She is one of the most lovely items I've had the privelege to share.
