On offer here is this fine Art Deco hand painted porcelain figurine of a majestic Golden Eagle surveying his vast domain. Handsomely modelled in the style of the Art Deco period this king of the skies is depicted in all his grandeur perched on a white stylised cliff.

Made in the renowned Karl Ens studios of Volkstedt, Thuringia. Circa 1920 and bearing a green windmill mark together with the legend;'Ens - Porzellan - Volkstedt' and'Handgemalt. This piece is one of over 50 rare and delightful figurines by the renowned Karl Ens studios, from a stunning collection of Volkstedt fine porcelains we have recently acquired from an estate.
