Rare Art Deco Porcelain Sculpture for Crown Prince Wilhelm Japanese man
Rare "Japanese man with fish" Art Deco Porcelain Sculpture for Crown Prince Wilhelm. Monochrome white glazed figurine from the'wedding train' by Adolph Amberg for KPM in 1905, to celebrate the wedding of Prussian Crown Prince Wilhelm to Duchess Cecilie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. KPM was commissioned to create an extraordinary procession of about 17 figures. Blue scepter mark KPM Berlin, 20th century. MEASUREMENTS: Approximately - 10 7/8 (27.5 cm) height. There is a chip underneath the fish mouth (as shown in picture # 3), that has been glazed over. Other than that in good condition. All clearly shown in the pictures.
