Rare Bavarian Art Deco Flapper Powder Jar Green Air Brushed Porcelain Figural
Up for sale is a rare powder jar in the art deco style. I have collected these powder jars and perfume bottles and decided to let one go. They are super hard to find. In 40 years I have only bought about 5-6 different ones and I have not seen another one for sale for a long time. The powder jar is as art deco as you can get.
It is covered with a air brushed art deco pattern in shades of green. It has 3 feet and 3 pointed feet between the other ones. The best thing is the figural part. The finial is a flappers head. Her black hair is slick.
She is wearing long red earrings and a collar that stands up in back and comes to a point in front. Stands about 6 inches tall. The triangle sides that open on the bottom are about 3 1/2 inches long. The 3 sides on the top that fit into bottom are about 3 inches long.
Marked Bavaria on the bottom. The is a tiny bit of wear to the paint where the top and bottom fit but does not detract from the item. No chips, cracks or repairs.
