Restored Pair of PORCELIER Art Deco White Porcelain Sconces, Excellent. These white porcelain sconces were first manufactured by Porcelier sometime between 1928 and 1953, the lifetime of the company.

However, the design is clearly art deco with the stepped ridges down the front and on the sides. Regardless, they were manufactured into the early 1950's. The porcelain is in very good condition. We carefully cleaned the fixtures, removing the dirt and old wall paint from the sides and most of it from the back.

We disassembled the original pull chain switches, cleaned and polished and lubed the parts. We replaced the original nickel plated chains with like kind in order to brighten them up. The fixtures even have the original porcelain pull chain knobs, a bonus because these are missing more often than not.

Everything has been tested and works perfectly. Each fixture has a two prong, unpolarized outlet at the base. We disconnected these, but all of the parts are there and they can be made to work if necessary. The fixtures are 4-1/4" x 7" where they attach to the wall, 8" high to the end of the chain, and project 4-1/4" from the wall. They take standard base bulbs.

Mounting hardware is included and that includes the original mounting nuts. Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them. We have a lot of antique porcelain sconces and other antique lighting for sale, so please check out our our lighting store.
