A very rare Art Deco figurine from the German porcelain company Rosenthal; Princess and the frog. Modelled by Leo Rauth in 1913.
This beautiful hand painted and gilded figurine is modelled as a young woman wearing a head dress seated by a frog on an oval base. Marked with the green Rosenthal factory mark & Selb-Bavaria, signed Leo Rauth. Width almost 5" x Height 4.5".
Any spots you might see are just glare or reflections from the camera. The figurine is about as nice and clean as one can get. Condition : Excellent, no damages to the porcelain or gilding.
As nice as I think can be found. Very hard to notice is what looks like a tiny glaze skip on the very bottom base rim. Not noticeable except if you run your finger over it or look with a magnifying glass. Almost perfect except for the tiny glaze skip. Cannot take a photo of it. As you can see from the photos it is unnoticeable. This exquisite figurine from Rosenthal captures the beauty and grace of a princess with a frog. Made from high-quality porcelain in Germany, this rare Art Deco piece is a must-have for any collector of decorative pottery and glassware. The intricate details of the figurine, from the princess's flowing gown to the frog's delicate features, make it a stunning addition to any home decor. The figurine is a great representation of the Art Deco era and would be a perfect addition to any collection.
