World Famous Royal Copehagen'Flora Danica. Considered to be some of the most luxurious porcelain ever produced. The original Flora Danica is exhibited at Rosenborg Castle, Christiansborg Castle & Amalienborg Palace. Each piece handpainted after the original Flora Danica Botanical Encyclopedia from the 18th century. A selection of over 3000 flower motifs and 40 forms of pieces.

There are less than 20 artists with the skills, training & in depth botanical understanding to work on the Flora Danica range and. Each one uses a creative freedom to make every piece unique. This listing is for a Chocolate Cup & Saucer which is no longer in production. Cup 6.5 cm tall x 6 cm diam at rim. And in excellent condition for its age ie free from obvious damages but please remember its age and manufacturing process at the time.

This means that there is the odd blemish under the glaze AND the base rim will not be perfectly smooth as this rested on supports whilst in the kiln.
