Royal Worcester Art Deco The Thief Porcelain Figure 1936. A delightful and finely made English Art Deco porcelain figure titled The Thief in Middle Eastern dress made by Royal Worcester and dated 1936. The figure of a young girl sits on a rectangular pedestal base wearing a turban like headdress and skirt with rings around her fingers and toes.

The figure is finely hand painted in predominantly tones of pink and grey with colored elements and with pretty painted facial features. The pedestal base has a marbled effect finish in grey on a white ground. The figure has printed makers marks to the base along with a registration mark dating the figure to 1936 and has a hand painted title? Provenance: acquired in the British Art Market.
