Vintage Art Deco Wallendorf Nude Woman With Rearing Gazelle Porcelain Figurine

  
From every angle, this porcelain figurine is stunning. It is a Wallendorf, (Schaubach Kunst) that dates to about 1964. She is an Art Deco style draped nude standing next to a leaping gazelle. The girl is nude bisque and the rest of the figurine is glazed porcelain.

The figurine measures about 9" by 9" and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The woman's features are so delicate and you can just feel her movement. Produced by Wallendorfer's renowned porcelain artisans, this charming Art Deco statute depicts a graceful female figure with a leaping ibex astride. The figure is hand painted in a naturalistic matte glaze that highlights the subtle detailing and contours of the piece.

The ibex and base of the piece are glazed in a high-gloss white with contrasting, hand-painted gold details.
