Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Vintage Porcelain Figurative Eggcups Quirky Ceramic Head Figurine Lady Gentleman. DESCRIPTION Vintage pair of unglazed porcelain egg cups. Depicting an elderly mans face on one with piercing blue eyes, raising his eyebrows as he turn his head.
The top of his head is open as that is where the egg would sit. The lady who wears a wide brimmed hat has a similar disdainful look upon her face and an aloofness which also intimateds wealth and status. Quirky in both subject matter and the seemingly reduced status they find themselves in as egg cups.
