Wonderful Porcelain Statuette Feeding Time by Royal Dux Art Deco Period

  

Gorgeous Royal Dux (Czechoslovakia) Porcelain Figural Group. Approximate Dimensions: 34.3cm tall x 10.3cm long x 13cm deep. Just a hint of gild wear. No cracks, chips or repairs found.

A very special, very beautiful work of art. Identification: Green stamp under the base says "Made in Czechoslovakia". The applied pink triangle has the letter E. These marks show that this statuette was made in the 1920's or 30's.

The artist's name (Kwasnitschka) is incised near the ducks (photo 12). Provenance: From a private Melbourne collection of Art Deco figures and statuettes, possibly the best and most extensive collection of this type in Australia.
